Mexico's Largest Construction Company Reports Weak Revenues as Country's Economy Stalls

As Mexico's economy stalls, and remittances from abroad have fallen, Empresas ICA, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:ICA), Mexico's largest construction company, reported that its third quarter 2009 revenues fell 43% to US$10.3 million.

  1. I think that construction industry has been badly affected because of recession and we can see the effect. Most of the bigger construction firms are facing the problem of weak revenues as there are no new projects in the hands and most the exsisting project have been halted because of the inappropriate fundings.
